I belong to a small group of fellow artists that formed during the pandemic to encourage one another while we were unable to take classes. We are still meeting monthly to share our artwork. Each month we have a topic and the month I created this, the topic was ?rain.? I splashed water on my kitchen counter and placed a pair of sunglasses on the water and took it from there!

I spend my summers in Montana to get away from the AZ heat. July is time spent at my brother and sister-in-law?s ranch in the mountains. She always has beautiful flowers planted before I get there, and one of my jobs is to take care of the flowerbeds and yard while they do ranch work. I took a photo of some of the flowers one evening and put them together in this painting.
